Tim Olsen

My name is Tim Olsen and I have been working in various capacities with the youth at Saint Paul's for over 25 years.  I've always enjoyed the larger events including mission trips, Creation Festival, and retreats.  I also enjoy supporting students at their school activities including having a chance to watch four students reach the state finals in soccer.  You can often find me on the sideline or in the back of the auditorium with camera in hand.  The students often seek me out after the activity, in one case when a student couldn’t make the event, they described me to a friend who I never met but they sought me out to let me know.

Outside of Saint Paul's, I work in the IT department at PHEAA and also help with the Middle School Volleyball Program as well as the Rheems Summer Volleyball Program.  I enjoy hiking and walking, in fact, I set a goal of walking 6 million steps in 2020 and have been doing it every year since.

My family all have careers in social services.  Karen, my wife, is a paraeducator at Elizabethtown Area High School through the IU13.  Kelsey, my younger daughter, also works with special needs students in the Elizabethtown Area High School as an autistic support teacher.  Kiersten, my older daughter, is a Physical Therapist at Penn State Health in Hershey and her husband Jesse is an English Teacher at Bishop McDevitt High School.  The whole family enjoys hiking and we have been finding vacation spots that include unique hiking opportunities.
